Art from Gallows Gallery by Penny Hudson

Ana and Phil were married at 3.00pm on Friday 2 December at Gallows Gallery in Mosman Park.  What a lovely place to marry, surrounded by beautiful artwork.  In fact the pieces behind them for the ceremony were by Penny Hudson and chosen particularly for the occasion - very appropriate, don't you think? 

I must say I do love Friday afternoon weddings and this one was small, intimate and heartfelt. It was also a very warm day and guests welcomed the opportunity to be indoors with the airconditioning at that time of the afternoon.  Phil looked very dapper in his suit, and was supported by best man Pete and groomsman James.  Everyone held their breath as Ana entered the room on the arm of her father Vlad - she was an absolute vision in an elegant long white dress.  Ana's maid of honour Jessica and bridesmaid Lauren wore strapless dresses in a purple/wine colour and carried beautiful pastel bouquets.  During the ceremony, the bride and groom stood in a loveheart of rose petals that had been scattered on the floor of the gallery.

Ana and Phil exchanged rings and then read some special vows they had prepared to each other.  It was an emotional moment and everyone present felt the love between the two of them. I had great pleasure in meeting Phil's parents Monica and Nic and Ana's parents Lepa and Vlad, who were very pleased and proud to see their son and daughter married after six years together.

Ana and Phil's wedding was coordinated by Lara White from White Events.  Lara leaves nothing to chance and has everything coordinated from start to finish (Ana and Phil's reception was at Matilda Bay Restaurant).

The wedding was photographed by Daniela from Daniela Fego Photography.  I know her photos will be absolutely gorgeous and watched Dani in action during the ceremony taking group and family photos in the gallery immediately after.  Dani's style is informal, yet stylish and classy (mmm...  just like me really!)
