Nicole and Helmut, Kings Park
published on: January 27 2012 filed in Recent Weddings

It was a hot but overcast afternoon as the very talented Les Trois Amies welcomed guests to Rotunda 2 at Kings Park. Cold water and white paper parasols were on hand to ensure the comfort of guests at the wedding of Nicole and Helmut and both were certainly appreciated!
Pageboy Max and flowergirl Emillie lead the way with the reassuring hand of Mum closeby and then everyone held their breath as the stunning bride Nicole was walked up the aisle by her equally stunning daughter Karina (side note - Karina is getting married in the near future, to fiancee Michael). Nicole and Helmut have travelled extensively in their time together and it was while admiring the view at Niagara Falls in Canada that Helmut proposed. They made a great looking couple with Nicole wearing a beautiful strapless gown, carrying a bouquet of lilac roses and Helmut and best man Ian in dark suits with matching lilac buttonholes. Bridesmaid Karina's gown was a gorgeous shade of lilac in the same style as her Mum's.
Helmut's sister Inge read a poem during the ceremony and then Nicole and Helmut exchanged their vows. They had taken the time to reflect on their relationship and their love for each other and took the time to write their own vows. Soon after rings were exchanged, Nicole and Helmut were pronounced as 'husband and wife' and there was much celebration by family and friends. The happy couple were continuing their celebration with a reception at the Vines Resort in the Swan Valley.
The very clever Narelle Watson was the wedding photographer and I can't wait to see her beautiful work again with the official photos for Nicole and Helmut.
It was wonderful to meet such a lovely couple, so obviously in love with each other. I wish you every blessing for a wonderful future together.
