Baby Naming Ceremony
A naming ceremony is a non-religious celebration to welcome a child. For parents, it provides an opportunity to formally introduce a baby to family and special friends.
Poems, readings and quotes of personal significance may be used throughout the ceremony, with an opportunity to acknowledge people who may play a significant role in the child’s life through to adulthood. Often a symbolic gesture is also made such as the lighting of a candle or the planting of a tree. Certificates can be presented to parents and other special people in attendance as a record of the occasion.
I provide a personal ceremony, tailored to suit individual needs and have a range of ceremony ideas, poems and readings that parents may choose from. With two small children of my own, I share your joy in becoming parents and bringing children into the world.

Renewal of vows
Many couples now wish to renew their wedding vows, reaffirming their love for one another in front of family and friends in a special ceremony. For some couples this may coincide with a special wedding anniversary after many years together; others may have married overseas and wish to have a second ceremony at home.
I can work with you both to
create a ceremony of significance to mark the special event.
Commitment ceremony
Unfortunately at the present time, legal marriage between same sex couples is not possible under Australian marriage laws. A commitment ceremony follows a very similar format to a marriage ceremony and is a way for two people to publicly express their love and future commitment to one another.
Commitment ceremonies are not only for same-sex couples - in some situations a legal marriage is not desired by the couple or perhaps it's not possible for other reasons.
I can work with you to design a ceremony to celebrate your relationship and your hopes and dreams as a couple.
